Conor McGregor reacts to ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson claiming he was unwise to decide to box Floyd Mayweather and that he will get knocked out.
Irishman Conor McGregor is batting back claims that he’s in over his head against Floyd Mayweather quite a lot recently.
It doesn’t seem to bother him though. Not in the slightest.
He seems absolutely convinced that he will beat Mayweather in their upcoming boxing match on August 26th – despite the fact it will be the Irishman’s professional debut in the sport.
He’s been posting a lot of pics in recent days suggesting he has trained for power in recent months and looks to have bulked up considerably.
His coach John Kavanagh has said his man is in career-best condition.

If this is the game plan, in terms of trying to rough Mayweather up and overpower him that is – he won’t have been the first to go down the route.
Mike Tyson recently labelled McGregor a ‘dumbass’ on social media for taking the fight.
Here’s how McGregor responded to the former heavyweight champion:
That's nice Mike, but you're looking at the new Don King here, son.
Money is mine.— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) July 25, 2017
Tyson has often been right when making asked to make calls on big fights over the years.
Ever the student of the game.
But it doesn’t take too much of a rocket scientist to know ‘Mystic Mac’ is up against it on August 26th, but he must be commended for his bravery in crossing over into a new sport:
